Farewell-to-spring Grace Salmon is an elegant and easy-to-grow summer annual that brightens the garden with its soft, salmon-colored blooms.

The petals have a silky sheen and a warm tone that shifts with the light, from gentle apricot to muted pink.The plant has an airy growth habit with many branching stems that produce abundant flowers all summer long.

It is equally beautiful in garden beds or pots and also makes an excellent cut flower.

Care and cultivation advice

(Atlas flower can be propagated indoors in spring or direct seeded outdoors once the soil has warmed up).

Propagation indoors: Sow the seeds shallowly in moistened seed soil during March-April. Cover with a thin layer of soil. After germination, place the seedlings in a bright and cool place. Harden off the seedlings before planting out when the risk of frost is over.

Direct sowing outdoors: Sow directly on the site when the soil has warmed up and the risk of frost has passed. Water the soil before sowing and keep it moist during the germination period.
