Care and cultivation advice

Soak the tubers in lukewarm water for about 3 to 4 hours before planting. This gently wakes them up and encourages faster growth.

Plant when the risk of hard frost has passed and the soil has started to warm up. Choose a sunny to partially shaded spot with well drained soil.

Plant the tubers about 5 cm deep and space them 8 to 10 cm apart. It does not matter which way they are placed, they will find their way.

Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil lightly moist during establishment. Avoid waterlogged soil.

Flowering occurs in summer. You can cut flowers regularly to encourage more blooms.
