Description
An incredibly easy-to-grow and low-maintenance zinnia variety with truly fantastic qualities.

Profusion Apricot thrives remarkably well in both cold and dry conditions, and it can even tolerate poorer soil quality.

Unlike many other zinnia varieties, this variety is also highly resistant to both mildew and other leaf diseases that often affect zinnias.

In other words, it's a very unique and hardy zinnia variety that can withstand most challenges, amazing, isn't it? The variety produces beautiful apricot-colored flowers with hints of warm terracotta.

The flower size is approximately 5 centimeters, and this variety is known for producing an abundance of flowers throughout the season and for blooming slightly earlier than other varieties.

Profusion Apricot is a unique zinnia variety that can be challenging to find today due to its outstanding characteristics.

It's lovely to use for cutting in smaller bouquets, thanks to its sturdy stems and magical color!

Care and cultivation advice

Pre-cultivate indoors in seed soil from March to April. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil and/or vermiculite, and keep in mind that the seeds require darkness to germinate. When the seeds have sprouted, place the sowings in a cool location with as much light as possible. Use planting lights in darker locations.

Plant out in a sunny location when the risk of frost is over. Just like all young plants, this variety needs to be protected from strong spring sun. So let the plant stand for shorter periods in the sun for the first few days so that it can acclimatize!

This variety can also be sown directly in the planting area when the soil is thoroughly warmed up.
