Pre-order only, delivery in early September The tulip ‘Callahan’ offers a wonderful color transition in shades of apricot, pink, and warm caramel.

Its double flowers have an almost peony-like shape and open slowly—becoming more beautiful with each passing day.

It blooms spectacularly from mid to late spring and pairs beautifully with other bulb flowers like narcissus and grape hyacinths.

‘Callahan’ is also an excellent cut tulip thanks to its stem length and good vase life.

Care and cultivation advice

You can plant your tulip bulbs from September until about a week before the ground freezes. The bulbs do best when planted immediately after you receive them, but if that’s not possible, we recommend storing them in a cool, dark, and dry place. Tulip bulbs thrive best in well-drained soil. Planting tulip bulbs in pots works perfectly fine, but make sure to use frost-resistant pots with drainage holes. To prevent the bulbs from freezing in winter, place the pots in a sheltered spot and cover them with insulating material.

For a tulip bulb to start sprouting, it needs a continuous period of cold (below 9°C), which is why we plant them in autumn. When spring arrives and the soil warms up, the tulips begin to emerge. Most varieties bloom beautifully from April to May.

All orders received before 12:00 will be shipped the same day. We will send your seeds directly to your mailbox via Postnord. For orders with bulbs, tubers and larger products, we will send to a Postnord agent, to a parcel box or home delivery via Instabox. Your delivery will arrive 48 hours after we receive your order.

We carefully pack the seed bags in 100% plastic-free climate-compensated packaging. In addition, we also choose to climate-compensate all our deliveries. We do this by donating to a project that focuses on the Swedish forest and its diversity.
