NOTE.

Pre-order only, delivery in early September

The tulip Design Impression is an organically grown Darwin hybrid that impresses with its large, vibrant pink blooms held on strong, sturdy stems.

Reaching a lovely height of about 50–60 cm, it's perfect for cutting and bringing indoors.

Choosing organic bulbs is not only beneficial for your garden but also for the environment.

Organic cultivation means no chemical pesticides or synthetic fertilizers are used, helping protect pollinators like bees and butterflies while also supporting soil health.

It contributes to a toxin-free environment and promotes biodiversity.

At the moment, there aren’t many organic varieties available on the market but it's something we at Florea are committed to expanding in our selection.

We believe that small choices in the garden can make a big difference, for nature and for the future.

Care and cultivation advice

You can plant your tulip bulbs from September until about a week before the ground freezes. For best results, plant the bulbs as soon as possible after you receive them. If that’s not possible, we recommend storing them in a cool, dark, and dry place until planting.

Tulip bulbs prefer well-drained soil. They can also be planted in pots—just make sure to use a frost-proof container with drainage holes. To protect the bulbs from freezing in winter, place the pot in a sheltered spot and cover it with insulating material.

For tulip bulbs to start growing, they need a continuous period of cold (below 9°C / 48°F), which is why we plant them in the autumn. When spring arrives and the soil warms up, the tulips begin to emerge. Most varieties bloom beautifully in April–May.
