Recipe tip for Purple Haze carrots:Peel the carrots and cut them lengthwise.

Place them on a baking tray with a little olive oil, sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a drizzle of honey.

Care and cultivation advice

Sow directly outdoors when the soil is ready or in late fall for early spring harvest. Make sure to water the soil well beforehand and keep the seedling moist throughout the germination period. The variety develops best in rich sandy soil, but ordinary vegetable soil or potting soil also works well. Should be sown very sparsely, preferably with 6-8 cm distance between each seed and preferably avoid later thinning.

The variety can also be sown and harvested gradually throughout the season. It is important to remember that carrots should be rotated from year to year to avoid pests and diseases.
