Description
An appealing and flavorful salad basil that has found its way into many homes due to its delicious taste.

This is a taller variety that has large leaves and is specially adapted to grow outdoors, in balcony boxes and pots.

The large, green, delicate leaves are excellent in pesto, as a topping, and in various types of salads.

In addition to the sweet, edible leaves, the light purple, beautiful flower spikes are also edible. Basil is not only delicious to eat but also a very healthy herb.

It is good for the skin, good for the stomach, anti-inflammatory, reduces stress, and detoxifies the body.

Like many herbs such as parsley, sage, and mint, basil also provides a fresh breath.

Care and cultivation advice

Start the indoor cultivation in March-April using seed soil and plant or vegetable soil. It's best to cover the seedlings with transparent cover with air holes for better germination, but the variety thrives best in a mini greenhouse. Water gently or use a flower sprayer to moisten the seeds. When the roots begin to emerge from the seedling pot, it's time to replant them in a larger pot.

The variety can be transplanted when the plants have been properly acclimated and the risk of night frost has passed.

A tip is to top the plants to encourage branching and a bushier growth pattern!
