Description
Such a new variety for us that we only tasted it at our supplier's last summer.

We were completely taken by the incredible taste and immediately felt that this was a variety we simply had to include in our assortment.

The flavor is wonderfully sweet, and we were all charmed on the spot by this fantastic variety.

The cherry tomatoes have a cool and tropical orange color and are just as delicious fresh as they are dried when they get an appetizing raisin flavor. Since this variety is so new to the market, all of us in the Florea team will be growing it this summer.

But because we all ate Dattorange F1 cherry tomatoes like candy, this variety already feels like a real winner!

Care and cultivation advice

Start by pre-cultivating indoors in smaller pots from February to April. Fill the pots with 2/3 planting soil or vegetable soil and top with 1/3 seed soil. Try to maintain the temperature around 22-25 degrees Celsius until the seeds germinate, then reduce to 18-20 degrees Celsius. Ensure that the seedlings are stored in a bright place and water them gently.

When the roots appear at the bottom of the seedling container, it's time to repot the plant into a slightly larger pot, also known as transplanting. It is recommended to top the plants once during indoor cultivation to promote a bushier appearance, which also prevents the plants from becoming too "leggy".

Tomato plants should be planted outdoors after being adequately hardened off and when the risk of frost is over, and the nighttime temperature is above 8 degrees Celsius. This variety needs to be tied up and pruned to produce as many tomatoes as possible.

Remember to shake the tomato plants occasionally to ensure that the sweet little yellow flowers are pollinated and will deliver more tomatoes. Tomatoes also like to be pampered, so giving the plants a little bit of plant food once a week increases the chances of a bountiful harvest. Use plant food that is rich in phosphorus and potassium, but avoid excessive nitrogen as it can give the tomatoes an unpleasant taste.
