Care and cultivation advice
Start cultivating indoors from February to April. Put them gently in the soil and cover with a thin layer of soil and/or vermiculite. Keep in mind that delphinium has seeds that require darkness to germinate and prefer cold germination temperatures of up to 13°C. Place the sowings in a bright and cool location after the seeds have sprouted. Plant out when the risk of frost is over. Just like all young plants, this variety needs to be protected from strong spring sun. So let the plant stand for shorter periods in the sun for the first few days so that it can acclimatize! Delphinium prefers to be in a sunny spot.
This variety can also be directly sown in the planting area when the soil is warmed up. Ensure that you water the soil both before and after sowing and keep it moist through the germinate period.
