Description
This soft and simple summer flower may at first glance seem a bit unpretentious, but in fact, it is one of our most popular cut flower varieties.

It has tightly double flowers in a beautiful creamy-yellow shade that eventually leans towards apricot.

Fata Morgana has sturdy and tall stems where the lovely flowers float high above the foliage.

It is very decorative in borders and plantings, either on its own or interwoven with other varieties. Pincushion Flower is perfect for cutting as it lasts a long time in a vase and is a fantastic filler plant together with other summer flower varieties.

It is also very beautiful to dry and use as everlasting flowers in bouquets all year round.

Care and cultivation advice

Pre-cultivate indoors in sowing soil in March-April. Preferably cover the sowing with a transparent cover equipped with air holes for the best result. Keep the sowing warm and, once the seeds have germinated, cool and as bright as possible. The plants can be planted out after hardening and when the risk of frost is completely over.

Pincushion Flower can also be sown directly at the growing site when the soil is warmed up. The variety thrives best in a sunny place.
