They look wonderful on their own in a bouquet or mixed with other charming summer flowers.

A summery variety that also makes a striking addition to gardens, pots, and other plantings. Sea Lavender, as it is commonly known, is a popular Mediterranean plant in the Plumbaginaceae family.

Care and cultivation advice

Soak the seeds for 2 days before sowing to promote faster germination. Pre-cultivate indoors in sowing soil during March to April and cover the sowing with transparent covering with air holes. Store the sowing in room temperature before germination and after germination in a cool and as bright place as possible. Transplant the seedlings to one plant per pot in fertilized soil when they are large enough to handle.

Plant outdoors when they have been sufficiently hardened and the risk of frost is over. Thrives best in a sunny location with sandy soil. Fertilize sparingly during the season.

The variety can also be sown directly at the planting site, but pre-cultivation is recommended for better results.

(For drying the flowers, they should be harvested before the flowers are fully developed.)
