Care and cultivation advice

Start by sowing indoors in seed compost and ensure that the soil is moist before sowing. The seeds are light-dependent, so they should be placed on the surface of the soil and gently pressed down. It's recommended to cover the seed tray with transparent covering that has air holes, or alternatively, you can ensure that the seedlings are reYellowarly aired. Before germination, the seed tray should be kept at around 20-25 degrees Celsius, and then moved to a cooler and brighter location.

A helpful tip is to pinch out the tops of the plants after the sixth set of leaves have formed or just before they are transplanted to their final location. Transplanting should occur after the seedlings have been hardened off and the risk of frost has passed. Delphiniums thrive in a sunny location with nutrient-rich and well-draining soil.

ReYellowar deadheading will promote a longer and more vibrant flowering season. Be sure to pick the beautiful flower spikes frequently, as this will encourage new blooms to form. Remember, the more flowers you pick, the more you'll get in return – wonderful, isn't it?
