Description
This admirable variety of Snapdragon is mainly known for its incredibly beautiful lavender-like color.

The long flower spikes are perfect for cut flowers and the variety lasts a long time in a vase.

Potomac Lavender is truly a feast for the eyes and has recently become incredibly popular to use in summer bouquets.

It is also a very grateful and attractive garden flower, where it can either make a solo debut or act as a background plant intertwined with other summer flowers.

The variety is highly appreciated by all our pollinators and is the ultimate magnet for a vegetable garden or other vegetation. Did you know that Potomac Lavender's flowers are edible? We highly recommend using them to decorate summer salads or pastries that needs a little extra.

Care and cultivation advice

Start by sowing indoors in seed soil and make sure to moisten the soil before sowing. The seeds require light to germinate, so they should be placed on the surface of the soil and gently pressed down. Cover the seeds with a transparent cover equipped with air holes or make sure to ventilate reYellowarly. Before germination, keep the seeds at around 20-25 degrees Celsius and then move them to a cooler and brighter location.

One tip is to top the plants after six pairs of leaves have formed or just before they are transplanted to their final location. Transplanting should occur after hardening off and when the risk of frost is over. Lejongap thrives best in a sunny location with nutritious and airy soil.

ReYellowarly remove dead flowers for a longer and more abundant bloom. Feel free to pick the beautiful flower spikes often, as it promotes new flowering shoots. The more flowers you pick, the more you'll get - wonderful, isn't it?
