Care and cultivation advice

Start the seeds indoors in March-April using planting soil, one seed per pot. Try to maintain a temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius before germination and cool and bright conditions after germination. If the roots start to show at the bottom of the pots, it's time to transplant them to larger pots.

The plants can be planted outside when they have been hardened off properly and the risk of frost has passed. Sunflowers prefer a sunny location with plenty of space for their roots. They thrive in nutrient-rich planting soil and for particularly tall sunflowers, we recommend fertilizing and providing nutrients during the growing season.

The variety can also be directly sown into the ground in May-June, but this results in slightly later blooming.
