Description
This variety is a classic Kohlrabi that is medium-early and can be harvests both in spring and fall.

The robust stem root has a delightful light green color, while the flesh leans towards white-green.

The variety has a soft and mild kohlrabi flavor when cooked.

Incredibly tasty for making stews or boiling and frying.

A small tip from us at Florea is to oven-roast kohlrabi in a baking dish with olive oil and salt, yum! (This variety is easy to grow and can be harvested approximately 14-16 weeks after sowing.)

Care and cultivation advice

Pre-cultivated indoors in sowing soil March-April. Cover the seed with transparent cover provided with air holes for best results, but it also works without. The cabbage rabbi can be planted out when the risk of frost is over. Just like all young plants, this variety need to be protected from strong spring sun. So let the plant stand for shorter periods in the sun for the first few days so that it can acclimatize!

This variety can also be sown directly when the soil is properly warmed up. Make sure the soil is moist during the germination period. Cabbage rabbi thrives best in a sunny spot in loamy soil.
