Summer Snowflake is an easy-to-grow and recurring bulbous plant that blooms in spring with white, nodding bell-shaped flowers.
The flowers are well suited for flowerbeds, under bushes and trees, or in naturalized plantings where they can spread over time. Summer snowflake thrives in sun to partial shade and in soil that ideally retains some moisture during spring. It is also usually left alone by deer and other grazing animals. The delicate flowers are also beautiful to pick for small spring bouquets and give the garden a fresh and bright impression early in the season.
