Care and cultivation advice

Sow directly in the planting area from April to June when the soil is warmed up. Soaking the seeds in lukewarm water for a day before planting promotes better germination, but it's optional. This variety thrives in light, less nutrient-rich soil as it encourages more flower production. Ideally, plant in a sunny location or partial shade. You can also sow this variety indoors in a pot all year-round, but it prefers to be placed in a very bright spot if you do so.

We recommend that you remove faded flowers as they appear for a better and more beautiful blooming. Nasturtiums are also highly frost-sensitive, so cover them in the evening if nights start to get a bit colder for an extended blooming season.
