A charming zinnia variety that is a mix of Zinnia Angustifolia and Zinnia Elegans.

Unlike most other zinnia varieties, Profusion Double Deep Salmon does not need regular deadheading.

It continues to produce lots of new flowers even with the faded ones still on the plant, amazing, isn't it? This makes the variety incredibly easy to care of.

The variety features lovely salmon-colored flowers with an orange center that fades as the plants mature.

Profusion Double Deep Salmon is perfect for smaller bouquets and has a long vase life. It's a fantastic variety to grow in pots and balcony boxes or at the front of taller varieties in flower beds.

Care and cultivation advice

Sow indoors in seed soil during March-April, preferably covering the seeds with transparent covering with air holes. Make sure to water the soil before sowing and keep it moist throughout the germination period. Before germination, keep the seeds in a temperature around 20-25 degrees Celsius, and after germination, keep them cool and in a bright location.

Plant the seedlings outdoors only after they have been properly hardened and when the risk of frost has passed. The plant thrives in a sunny location in well-fertilized and well-drained soil.

The variety can also be sowed directly on the planting site in May-June, when the soil has been warmed up and is workable. For a longer and more splendid blooming, reYellowarly cut off withered flowers. Cut just a few millimeters above the top pair of leaves on the stem where the flower sits. This will encourage new blooms and growth.
