Description
Fritillaria persica 'Purple Favorite' is a dramatic and elegant variety that adds both height and colour to spring plantings.
The dark purple, almost black-shimmering bells hang closely along the tall stems, and the striking foliage enhances the contrast wherever it is planted.This variety blooms in late spring and returns faithfully year after year in a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
Thanks to the plant's scent and taste, it is also often left undisturbed by deer and other animals.
