Ranunculus Elegance Bianco belongs to the celebrated Italian Elegance® series, bred to highlight the ranunculus's most exquisite qualities.

The blooms open in a soft, creamy white shade with a delicate green center, gradually transforming into a pure, snow-white tone.

The stems are long and sturdy, typically reaching between 30-40 cm, making this variety a graceful and dependable choice for cut flowers.Compared to common ranunculus varieties, the Elegance series flowers earlier, produces more and larger blooms, and maintains strong flowering even in warmer conditions thanks to thoughtful selective breeding and quality enhancements, which we at Florea cherish deeply.

Care and cultivation advice

Ranunculus is a charming spring flower grown from small, tuberous roots. Before planting, you can wake the tubers up by soaking them in lukewarm water for 3–4 hours. Then plant them with the little “claws” facing downward, about 5 cm (2 inches) deep and 10–15 cm (4–6 inches) apart. They thrive best in a sunny spot with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil.

Water reYellowarly to keep the soil lightly moist, but be careful not to overwater – the tubers can rot if they sit in soggy soil. Once the ranunculus begins to bloom, you can feed them with a little extra fertilizer and remove spent flowers to prolong the flowering period.

If you live in a colder climate, it’s a good idea to lift the tubers after the season and store them in a dry, frost-free place until it’s time to plant again.
