Description
A classic and beautiful cornflower with dense and double flowers in blue.

The variety has a low and compact growth habit that is perfect for border beds, planters and pots.

It is also very popular with all our pollinators and great to plant alongside other flower varieties.

The cornflower looks incredibly pretty in bouquets both as freshly picked and as dried everlasting flowers.

It is lovely to have in a vase on the table or to decorate the table setting. The flowers of the cornflower are edible and perfect as a garnish on dishes, baked goods, and summer cakes.

Our tip is to spice up a Greek salad or a tuna bowl with avocado and pickled red onions with these cute flowers.

The good taste and blue color contrast make the plate artistically beautiful and exudes a lovely summer vibe. A big plus for this variety is that it is also organic!

Care and cultivation advice

Pre-cultivate indoors in seed soil during April-May. The seedlings are then placed in a bright and cool location after germination. The plants are planted out after they have been properly hardened off and the risk of frost has passed. They thrive best in a sunny location, but partial shade also works. Flourishes and blooms the most in nutrient-rich and well-drained soil, but thrives in most soil types.

This variety can also be sown directly in the planting site in May-June or sown in autumn for earlier flowering the following summer. ReYellowarly weed for a longer and more beautiful bloom.
