Care and cultivation advice

Sow indoors in seed compost in March-April, covering with transparent covering with air holes. Store the seeds at around 18 degrees Celsius before germination and around 15 degrees Celsius and as bright as possible after germination.

Plant out after hardening off and when the risk of frost has passed. Hollyhocks prefer full sun and thrive in well-drained soil. Remember to fertilize your hollyhocks regularly to promote flowering and reduce the risk of hollyhock rust.

The variety can also be sown outdoors in the planting site or in pots from July to September for flowering the following year. Remove the flower stem after flowering and winter cover the plants.
