Description
An unusual and unique melon variety with an incredibly exquisite and delicate taste.

The variety has a sweet, juicy, and delicious flesh.

The Pineapple melon has a varied and special exterior and is mainly known for its incredible sweetness.

This variety is so new to us that we only tasted it at our supplier's in the summer of 2021.

We were all charmed by the exotic flavor and enchanting sweetness, which made us feel that it had a natural place in our range.

Therefore, everyone in the Florea family will grow this variety this summer, something we all look forward to very much. Beautiful, decorative vines with lovely yellow-beige fruits and fragile skin.

The vines also have yellow and sweet small flowers that are incredibly decorative in a greenhouse or enclosed patio. So if you are looking for a unique melon variety with fantastic taste and sweetness, try this novelty!

Care and cultivation advice

Sow indoors in seed soil, one seed per seed pot. Make sure to water the soil before sowing and keep the soil moist throughout the germination period. For the best germination results, cover the sowing with transparent cover with air holes, but it also works without this step.

Store the sowing at around 25 degrees Celsius before the seeds have germinated, and around 15-20 degrees Celsius after they have germinated, and as bright as possible. For best results, use plant lighting during indoor cultivation. When the roots start to show on the underside of the pot, it's time to transplant the plants into larger pots or planting containers.

Then, plant the seedlings when they have been properly hardened off and when the night temperature does not fall below 8°C. Choose a warm and protected planting site with plenty of room for the roots to grow. A greenhouse or a warm glazed patio is ideal for the honeydew melon. This variety is a climbing plant and likes to spread out with its beautiful tendrils. So make sure it has space to do so or use plant supports. When the fruits start to grow large, they may sometimes need help to be tied up so that the tendrils do not break off.

Important to keep in mind! (If this variety is in a greenhouse or glazed patio, it needs help with pollination. The easiest way to do this is to take a small brush or cotton swab and dab from one flower to another, repeating this a few times on all flowers with the same tool you used earlier.)
