The beautiful, slightly silver-tinted foliage and the unique scent of menthol are just two of the many reasons why this variety is so incredibly popular.

A popular interior detail in many homes and a true classic in bouquets.

It lasts a long time in a vase and is just as beautiful freshly picked as it is dried. A grateful variety that eventually becomes a tree if it is allowed to overwinter under the right conditions.

Care and cultivation advice

Indoor seedlings should be started in seed soil with a transparent cover equipped with air holes or a layer of vermiculite at around 20-22 degrees Celsius. When the seeds have germinated, the sowing should be kept in a bright and cool location at around 15-20 degrees Celsius. The plants are transplanted after hardening off and when the risk of frost has passed.

The plant thrives best in acidic soil with a low pH value. We strongly recommend using Rhododendron soil. Since eucalyptus has constant root growth, it doesn't like to be transplanted too many times. Therefore, it may be a good idea to plant it in a larger pot at once when it will be transplanted to its final location.

(Eucalyptus can survive the winter in frost-free areas.)
