Description
An incredibly cute and appetizing snack pepper with a lovely orange color.

The fruits are small and the variety is compact, making it perfect for balconies, patios, or larger window sills with plenty of sunlight in a spacious pot.

The charming and colorful color of the peppers makes the plant a delightful splash of color wherever it is placed.

This variety is very popular among children, especially due to the size of the peppers, but also because of their sweet taste. This pleasant variety can be eaten in many forms, both fresh, cooked, or pickled.

It is a fantastic and tasty snack pepper to have in salads or to eat as it is, perhaps at its best on a breakfast sandwich in all its simplicity?

Care and cultivation advice

Start the seeds indoors from January to April in smaller pots or containers with seed soil. The seeds are photophilic, so moisten the soil, lightly press them onto the surface, and cover with transparent covering that has air holes for optimal germination, but it can also be done without it. Before germination, the seeds prefer a temperature of around 20-25 degrees Celsius, and after germination, slightly cooler but as bright as possible. As peppers grow slowly and have a long development time, we recommend using plant lighting. This will make the plants much more lush, thick, and strong.

When the roots begin to appear on the undersides of the pots, it is time to transplant them into slightly larger pots or planting containers. This time, use planting soil or vegetable soil because the plants need more nutrition than before. For a more bushy and lush appearance, the plant is topped once during pre-growing. This is done when the plant is about 15-20 cm tall. For optimal growth results, we recommend using weak liquid fertilizer every other week because the plants develop slowly and need a little extra care.

Snacking peppers are transplanted outdoors after being hardened off properly and when the risk of frost has passed. They like a protected and sunny location, preferably in a greenhouse or on a warm outdoor spot against a wall, but can also thrive on a sunny windowsill. The best growing conditions for this variety are in loose, deep, high-quality soil. A tip is to plant the peppers in slightly larger pots so that they really have the space to develop in the best way possible and produce abundant harvests with lots of peppers.
