Description
NOTE.

Pre-order only, delivery in early September
Apricot Pride is a "Darwin Hybrid" tulip, which means it has the characteristic large flowers and sturdy stems.

It is a fairly unique variety that is not found everywhere, making it extra exciting.

This variety blooms from April to June and can reach a height of up to 55 cm.

The stunning apricot color combined with its majestic height makes it a big favorite for us. The fantastic apricot colour combined with its stately height makes this variety a big favourite with us.

In the pictures, you can see how it looked at Anna Kubel's home in Norrtälje, Sweden, and in the fields in Holland.

Sometimes you might think they are two completely different tulips, but depending on the light and heat, the colour tone can vary. We are also very fond of how it looks when fully open.

Then it is truly enchanting.

Care and cultivation advice

You can plant your tulip bulbs from September until a week before the ground freezes. The bulbs are best planted as soon as you receive them, but if you're unable to do so, it is recommended to store them in a cool, dark, and dry place. Tulip bulbs thrive in well-drained soil. It's perfectly fine to plant tulip bulbs in a pot, but make sure to use a frost-resistant pot with drainage holes. To prevent the bulbs from freezing during winter, place the pot in a sheltered location and cover it with insulating material.

For a tulip bulb to start sprouting, it requires a continuous period of cold temperatures (below 9 degrees Celsius), which is why we plant them in autumn. When spring arrives and the soil warms up, the tulips will start emerging. Most varieties bloom beautifully in April to May.
