Care and cultivation advice

You can plant your tulip bulbs from September up until about a week before the ground freezes. Bulbs do best when planted as soon as you receive them, but if that’s not possible, we recommend storing them in a cool, dark, and dry place. Tulips prefer well-drained soil. Planting in pots is also perfectly fine—just make sure to use a frost-resistant pot with drainage holes. To prevent the bulbs from freezing during winter, place the pot in a sheltered spot and cover it with insulating material.

For a tulip bulb to start growing, it needs a continuous cold period (below 9°C), which is why we plant them in autumn. When spring arrives and the soil warms up, the tulips begin to sprout. Most varieties bloom beautifully in April to May.

Delivery and shipping information

All orders received before 12:00 will be shipped the same day. We will send your seeds directly to your mailbox via Postnord. For orders with bulbs, tubers and larger products, we will send to a Postnord agent, to a parcel box or home delivery via Instabox. Your delivery will arrive 48 hours after we receive your order.

We carefully pack the seed bags in 100% plastic-free climate-compensated packaging. In addition, we also choose to climate-compensate all our deliveries. We do this by donating to a project that focuses on the Swedish forest and its diversity.
