Description

Pennisetum - Hameln is a beautiful, perennial grass that has gained significant popularity in the floral world in recent years.

This elegant variety forms dense, elongated tufts in a silvery hue with subtle purple tones.

It is stunning in potted arrangements as well as in larger flower beds, interwoven with other plant varieties.

The plumes are also excellent for use in bouquets and floral arrangements, but should be harvested in spring.

Care and cultivation advice

The variety is planted out directly on site, but can also be grown up earlier indoors in a pot and then planted out when all risk of frost is over. Plant 7-8 cm into the soil and water reYellowarly but sparingly.

Hameln has an upright growth habit and grows about 60 to 80 cm high. At the end of March, the pennisetum should be pruned down to a height of about 20 cm.
