This variety can be pre-grown indoors or sown directly on the growing site. Definitely a growing challenge but when you succeed, the result is unbeatable!

Propagate: Propagate indoors February-March in potting soil topped with sowing soil, easiest is to sow broadly because the seeds are so small. When the seedlings have emerged, they want to have their own pot and be kept a little cooler, around 12-18°C if possible. Once the roots are peeking out the bottom of the pot, it's time to replant them into a larger one. The Siberian poppy can be planted out once it has hardened off and the risk of frost is over.

Direct sowing: Sow directly on the site April-June when the soil has warmed up. Make sure to keep the soil moist throughout the germination process. Thin out to 20 cm plant spacing. The variety can also be sown in late summer or fall for overwintering and flowering the following year!
