Care and cultivation advice

Start seeds indoors in seed starting mix in March-April, and cover the seeds with transparent cover with air holes. Water the soil before sowing and keep it moist during the entire germination period. Before germination, keep the seeds at a temperature of around 20-25 degrees Celsius and after germination, keep them cool and in a bright spot.

Plant the seedlings outside after they have been hardened off properly and the risk of frost is over. They thrive best in a sunny location in well-fertilized and well-drained soil.

The variety can also be sown directly in the garden in May-June when the soil is warm and workable.

For a longer and more splendid bloom, reYellowarly remove faded flowers by cutting a few millimeters above the top leaf pair on the stem where the flower is located. This encourages new flowering and growth.
