Care and cultivation advice

Pre-cultivate indoors from December to March in small pots or containers with seed soil. The seeds require light for germination, so moisten the soil and lightly press them on the surface of the soil. For the best germination results, cover the sowings with transparent covers equipped with air holes, but it's also works without this step. Before germination, the sowings prefer temperatures around 20-25 degrees Celsius, and after germination, slightly cooler temperatures are suitable, but provide as much light as possible. Since peppers grow slowly and have a long development time, we recommend using grow lights. This will result in much more thicker and stronger plants.

When the roots start to appear at the bottom of the pots, it's time to plant them into slightly larger pots or planting containers, this time using potting soil or vegetable soil as the plants need more nutrients than before. For a bushier and more lush appearance, top the plant once during pre-cultivation, when it's about 15-20 cm tall. For the best growing results, we recommend using a weak liquid fertilizer every other week because the plants develop slowly and need a little extra care.

Pepper plants should be transplanted after they have been properly hardened off and the risk of frost has passed. Snacking peppers prefer a sheltered and sunny location, such as a greenhouse or a warm outdoor spot against a wall, but they can also thrive on a sunny windowsill. This variety thrives best in loose, deep, high-quality soil.
