Care and cultivation advice
Start indoors in planting soil or vegetable soil, and make sure to cover with transparent covering equipped with air holes or use a mini greenhouse for best results. One seed in each small seed pot is easiest, but it is also possible to sow several seeds in a larger pot and then move them when they have grown up a little to one plant per pot.
Make sure to water the soil thoroughly before planting. Place the sowing in about 25 degrees Celsius before germination and around 16-20 degrees Celsius after germination. After germination, the plants also want to stand in as much light as possible, so preferably in a sunny window or under grow lights.
The plants benefit from being transplanted once during indoor cultivation. This means that when the roots appear on the underside of the pot, it is time to move it to a slightly larger pot.
The plants can be planted outdoors after hardening off and when the risk of frost is over and the night temperature does not fall below +8 degrees Celsius. Plant the plants where the roots have plenty of room to grow. A raised bed, greenhouse or a 10-liter pot are some good examples. Choose a sunny outdoor location like a sheltered patio or a greenhouse for best results. Also remember that this variety needs support to grow nicely and thrive!
