The sunflower 'SunFill Green' is specially developed for cutt flowers.

The variety has dense, lime green to yellow-green flower heads without visible disk, which gives a compact and spherical expression.

Strong stems with a long vase life make it particularly good in bouquets.

Care and cultivation advice

Pre sow indoors in March-April in potting soil, one seed per pot. Try to keep the seed at 20-25 degrees before germination and after germination bright and cool. If the roots are peeking out the bottom of the pots, it is time to replant them to larger ones.

The plants are planted out when they have hardened off properly and the risk of frost is over. Sunflowers need a sunny position and plenty of room to grow. It thrives in nutrient-rich planting soil, and for really tall sunflowers we recommend fertilizing and feeding during the season.

The variety can also be sown directly on the site in May-June, but will then flower a little later.
