It&#8217;s finally here &#8211; our amazing seed box from the 2024 Christmas calendar! A beautifully designed box with practical and spacious storage for your seed bags and garden accessories. The box is updated with a new design. If you already have last year&#8217;s seed box, they will fit nicely together. Inside there are compartments that you can adjust the size of to organize your seed bags in the best way. The box closes with a button and has handles on the sides so you can easily take it out into the garden. The box is made of FSC-labeled paper.

Florea&#8217;s fermented fertilizer &#8211; power from nature&#8217;s own microbes. Our fermented fertilizer (1L) is full of life! With the help of natural bacteria and yeast, organic matter is transformed into a nutrient-rich blend that strengthens your plants from the ground up. It provides both a quick boost and long-lasting support, while improving the soil and favouring healthy microlife. A climate-smart nutrient &#8211; completely free of oddities and full of plant power. 

Primarily used for plant raising and to promote the plants in smaller soil volumes such as pallet collars and pots. Dosage 2-3 tbsp/litre, 2 times per week. For nutrient demanding plants you can increase the dosage. For foliar fertilisation: 10 ml to 1 litre of water, spray to drip around the plant.
Table of contents: Water, organic waste, organic cane molasses, active nitrogen and CO2 fixing photosynthesis bacteria: rhodopseudomonas palustris, rhodospirillum rubrum. Lactic acid bacteria: Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus casei. Yeasts: Saccharomyecs cerevisiae.

Karin Larsson's Kitchen Garden

We are proud to present our collaboration with Carl Larsson House where we have developed two boxes with seeds inspired by Carl and Karin Larsson. Carl Larsson House in Sundborn is an icon of Swedish interior design and family life. For over a hundred years, the artist Carl Larsson has inspired garden enthusiasts with his images of the idyllic Swedish garden.
This box reflects what the vegetable and kitchen garden could have looked like at Karin and Carl&#8217;s home. Many things that were grown over 100 years ago we still love today! We also asked ourselves &#8211; what was their inspiration? Perhaps it was exotic and new varieties they brought with them from France.
When we visited Carl Larsson House for the first time, we were struck by the story that Carl loved rhubarb. He loved rhubarb so much that there would always be a rhubarb pie on his birthday. So of course they have a big place in the kitchen garden and a given place in the box.
Karin&#8217;s favourite has to be tomatoes &#8211; a passion she shared with us at Florea! So we&#8217;ve included our favourite tomato, which we hope she would have liked to grow in her time too.

Karin Larsson's Flowerbed

We chose to create a flower bed after seeing Karin&#8217;s beautiful flower beds in Carl&#8217;s many artworks. We also believe that the Larsson family grew a lot of flowers to create a beautiful and inspiring environment. Nasturtium was grown extensively and was always found outside the entrance to the house. We have chosen to include an easy-to-grow variety that blooms in the same colours as it did at the family home.
One painting that caught our eye was ‘Brita. A cat and a sandwich’ where one of the daughters is standing in front of a house wall and in the background you can see stately and tall sunflowers. This made us think of Swedish summer and the great family life we all love to share in the garden. So it was a no-brainer to include a tall sunflower in this box, perfect for growing with the kids.
