Pre-order only, delivery in early September

Narcissus Thalia, also known as the "Orchid Narcissus", is a classic and much-loved spring flower that was first introduced back in 1916.

This elegant Triandrus narcissus bears up to five pure white blooms per stem, with slightly reflexed petals and a delicate, bell-shaped cup.

The flowers are delightfully fragrant and bloom from mid to late spring.

Reaching a height of about 30–45 cm, Thalia is ideal for both garden beds and containers.

It thrives in full sun to partial shade and looks especially beautiful when planted alongside other spring-flowering bulbs such as muscari and crocuses.

Choosing organic bulbs is not only good for your garden, but also for the environment.

Organic cultivation means no chemical pesticides or synthetic fertilizers are used, which helps protect pollinators like bees and butterflies and supports healthy soil.

It also contributes to a toxin-free environment and promotes biodiversity.

At present, there are still relatively few organic varieties available, but it's something we at Florea are actively working to expand in our range.

We believe that small choices in the garden can make a big difference, for nature and for the future.

(Not favoured by deer or other animals, which means it can bloom in peace!)

Care and cultivation advice

You can plant your narcissus bulbs from September up until about a week before the ground freezes. Bulbs do best when planted as soon as you receive them, but if that’s not possible, we recommend storing them in a cool, dark, and dry place. Narcissus prefers well-drained soil. A big advantage of narcissus is that they are often completely deer-resistant.

Plant the bulbs about 15 cm deep and approximately 10 cm apart. Narcissus usually bloom a little earlier than tulips, typically from March to May.
