Ranunculus Butterfly Hestia is a magnificent addition to the Butterfly™ family, shaped through Japanese breeding by Aya Engei.The flowers present an enchanting appearance, with creamy tones softly tinged with peach and accented by pink highlights that draw the eye. A delicate sparkle created by a fine waxy coating on the petals renders the blooms almost like living works of art, making them stunning in bouquets. Typically, each stem supports five to seven flowers, creating a lively and full impression despite the plant’s slightly bushy habit. The stems are long and graceful, versatile enough for any type of arrangement.

Care and cultivation advice
Ranunculus is a charming spring flower grown from small, tuberous roots. Before planting, you can wake the tubers up by soaking them in lukewarm water for 3–4 hours. Then plant them with the little “claws” facing downward, about 5 cm (2 inches) deep and 10–15 cm (4–6 inches) apart. They thrive best in a sunny spot with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil.
Water reYellowarly to keep the soil lightly moist, but be careful not to overwater – the tubers can rot if they sit in soggy soil. Once the ranunculus begins to bloom, you can feed them with a little extra fertilizer and remove spent flowers to prolong the flowering period.
If you live in a colder climate, it’s a good idea to lift the tubers after the season and store them in a dry, frost-free place until it’s time to plant again.
