With its soft and unique color, it stands out from many other varieties.

The sky-blue petals also attract all the newly awakened pollinators, quickly becoming a popular attraction for bumblebees and bees. The amazing thing about Blue Pearl is that the bulbs readily multiply and together create a "sea" of beautiful light blue flowers.

It's an unparalleled sight in March when everything else is brown and gray.

This variety is very easy to grow and reliable, as it returns year after year.

Care and cultivation advice

Dig a hole and loosen the soil where you're going to plant the onions. If the soil is very compact and clayey, you can mix in some fertilizer or sand. Plant the onion bulbs at a depth that is two or three times the size of the bulb. The pointed end of the onion should be facing upwards. Keep in mind that small bulbs should not be planted deeper than 5 cm, so they can emerge above the ground in spring. Then, cover the crocus bulbs with soil and wait for the first spring sun.
