At his home, we always find these during the summer season in a charming and old-fashioned urn.

A unique forget-me-not with that little extra.

Mystic Blue produces an abundance of small, sweet flowers in the most beautiful shades of blue.

Unlike common forget-me-nots, this variety blooms significantly longer and more abundantly.

It also has much longer stems and unusually long-lasting vase life, which is the reason this variety has quickly become so popular as a cut flower. To quote our colleague Anders, "No summer without forget-me-nots - Mystic Blue."

Care and cultivation advice

This variety is pre-cultivated in March-April, alternatively 6-8 weeks before planting, which takes place when the risk of frost is over. The seeds germinate at about 20 degrees and want to stand a little cooler and very bright after the germination. Plant lighting can be used in darker spaces. Chinese forget-me-not thrives in both sun and partial shade and in the majority of soils.

(A recommendation from us is to cut the plants down after 4-6 weeks of flowering for a chance for a second flowering!)

The variety can be directly sown in September for earlier flowering the following year.
