Description
An easy-to-grow, fast-growing herb that combines beauty and utility in every little flowering stalk.

Honeyfacelia produces a sea of beautiful lavender-blue flowers.

The finely lobed inflorescences unfurl like little spirals and attract all kinds of pollinators such as bees, butterflies and bumblebees in abundance.

With its strong growing power, it covers the ground like a bright silk field while improving the soil.

In fact, Honeyfacelia increases the soil's moisture content because it is a green manure plant. This deer-resistant plant is also drought-resistant once established and is therefore particularly suitable in places where irrigation is a little limited.

It is also great to use as a cut flower!

Care and cultivation advice

Sow directly outdoors when the soil has warmed up in spring. Choose a sunny to semi-shady spot with well-drained soil. Sprinkle the seeds evenly over the surface and lightly mulch them, about one centimeter deep. Keep the soil moist during germination, which usually takes one to two weeks.

Lacy phacelia grows quickly and blooms after about six to eight weeks, making it perfect as a bee plant and green manure. For a longer flowering time, you can sow in batches during the season. Leave the flowers on if you want them to self-sow next year.
