Description
Lovage is a delightful herb with beautiful aromatic foliage.

The leaves can be used both fresh and dried, and give an incredible flavor to salads, stews, fish and meat dishes, but can also be used as a substitute for bouillon.

A really good seasoning in stews, sauces and soups, but also in marinades. A great tip is to throw in a few stems of lovage into the boiling potato water or to make herb salt with this variety!

Care and cultivation advice

Start by sowing indoors in seed soil from February to March, watering gently and covering the sowing with clear plastic provided with air holes for the best germination. The variety can be transplanted when the plants have hardened properly and the risk of frost is over. Lovage thrives best in nutritious, porous, and moist soil, but can also grow in most soil types.

This variety can also be sown directly on the site or in pots for propagation from May to September. The seeds should then be covered with a thin layer of vermiculite or sand.
