Description

Masterwort 'White' is a stunning perennial with a mounding habit and lush green foliage.

The flower heads are white and clearly star-shaped, surrounded by a delicate layer of bracts that give a soft expression in summer plantings.

The variety flowers abundantly from early to late summer and is beautiful to plant together with other perennials.

Masterwort is just as useful in bouquets as in the flowerbed.

The flower heads retain their shape and color when dried, making them useful both as fresh and dried in arrangements.

Care and cultivation advice

Sow the seeds indoors between January and May in potting soil. Cover carefully with a thin layer of gravel or perlite. If germination is slow, the seed can be left to rest in the refrigerator for about a month. Then place it outdoors in a sheltered shady spot. Seeds can also be sown outdoors in the fall during September and November, either in pots or in the open air for transplanting.
