Say hello to perhaps the most beautiful of sweet pea varieties, at least according to us at Florea. Spring Sunshine Champagne is a light pink sweet pea that comes in soft and romantic peachy tones. It is a very unique and sought-after variety because, unlike other sweet pea varieties, the seeds are much harder to come by.
The fantastic thing about the Spring series is the incredibly long stems that are extremely well-suited for cutting. Lovely in bouquets and lasts a long time in a vase, which is a significant plus. Spring Champagne is in a class of its own, both in terms of characteristics and color—a sweet pea favorite that is almost impossible to surpass.

Care and cultivation advice
Sorten kan sås direkt på växtplatsen när jorden blivit uppvärmd eller förodlas inomhus i såjord mars-maj. Försök att hålla sådden vid 18-20°C innan groning och efter groning svalt och så ljust som möjligt. Plantorna hanteras väldigt försiktigt vid omskolning då de är sköra.
Utplantering sker när plantorna avfärdats ordentligt och risken för frost är över. Plantorna toppas vid 8-10 cm för ett mer buskigare utseende. Luktärten trivs allra bäst i djup, väldränerad och mullrik jord. Växer och frodas som mest på en solig och skyddad växtplats.
Vårt bästa tips för att lyckas med luktärter är att plocka blommorna, allra helst varje dag. Ju fler du plockar desto fler får du. För varje luktärtsbukett du plockar in belönas du med många fler. Om du inte plockar blommorna lägger istället luktärten all sin energi på att producera fröbaljor.
(Tänk på att sorten behöver växtstöd såsom en spaljé eller en vägg och för längre blomning behövs växten rensas lite allt eftersom).
