The ‘Bowling Ball’ poppy is a charming and colorful variety that adds both height and hue to the borders. The flowers are large and densely filled in a warm cerise-pink tone that almost glows in the sunlight. After flowering, it leaves behind beautiful round seed-pods that continue to adorn the garden well into late summer. The seed-pods are equally decorative in fresh bouquets and dried arrangements.This is a poppy that is easy to love and even easier to grow. It thrives in a sunny spot, self-sows readily and often returns year after year in the same place.
