Description
This elegant variety of cosmos in a beautiful caramel pink attire is in a class of its own.

The lovely variety name Rose Bonbon was, of course, given to the variety for its wonderful pink color and playful form.

The candy-like flowers are fully double and have a nice yellow center disk.

Rose Bonbon is a well-known and acclaimed variety that is often used for cut flowers due to its long-lasting and fluffy appearance. Rose Bonbon is a loyal and charming summer flower that blooms gracefully and abundantly until frost comes and takes it away.

It is easy to grow and also thrives well in slightly larger pots, which is a big plus.

This means that you can plant Rose Bonbon almost anywhere to create a beautiful flower oasis that you can enjoy throughout the season!

Care and cultivation advice

Start indoors in seedling soil from March to April, and cover the sowing with transparent covering with air holes. When the seeds have germinated, keep the seedlings cool and in as much light as possible for the best results. To encourage abundant and beautiful blooms, the plants should be topped or pinched to stimulate the production of more side shoots, resulting in more buds and flowers. Our tip is to top/pinch the plant just above the second or third pair of leaves.

The seedlings should be transplanted outside once they have hardened off and the risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny location for the most abundant flowering, although the plant can also grow in partial shade. Rosenskära thrives in rich, sandy soil without too much nutrients. If it receives too much fertilizer, it will develop an abundance of leaves but unfortunately very few flowers.

(This variety can also be sown directly in the ground when the soil has warmed up, but will have slightly later blooming.)

Can also be sown in the fall for bloom the following year. Sow directly in the soil before the frost comes.
