Description
An early strawberry variety that produces abundant large, white-yellow, flavorful berries.

Known for its long harvest time, which can last well into the fall as long as the nights are not too cold.

The tasty berries are also incredibly decorative thanks to their unique color.

Another big plus is that even the birds tend to leave this variety alone because they think the berries are not ripe. Strawberries are also beautiful to plant in the front of beds thanks to their height and are also very easy to access.

The cute little flowers in white are also very decorative, just like the little berries. So if you've never tried white and yellow strawberries before, we highly recommend it.

In fact, many of us at Florea actually prefer them to the classic red ones! (The variety does not form runners)

Care and cultivation advice

Sow indoors in small pots or outdoors directly on the growing site when the soil is workable. The seeds germinate best when the temperature is around 18 degrees. A tip that can improve the germination result is to let the seeds lie cold for 2-4 weeks first, e.g. in a fridge or root cellar. Try to keep the seed moist during the germination process. When a small seedling with leaves has emerged, the roots will want more space, so replant in a larger pot.

When the risk of frost is completely over outdoors, it is time to plant out the seedlings. Don't forget to get them used to the outdoor climate gradually. Strawberries are easy to grow and perennial, so bear this in mind when choosing a spot in the garden. Strawberries can cope with a semi-shady location but this affects the taste of the berries so choose a sunny spot for the very best taste experience!
