Florea was really started from a feeling that something was missing. We didn’t see anyone in the digital space truly inspiring people to grow in a way that felt modern or relevant. Gardening was often either too technical or a bit outdated, while we saw it as something much more emotional and inspiring.

We wanted to show that growing is not just about plants. It’s about the feeling of creating something yourself, the calm it brings, and the positive effects it has on both your mind and body. That part felt under communicated.

On what Florea stands for
In a world that is moving faster and faster, where everything is becoming more automated and people are constantly talking about AI, we feel a strong need to hold on to what is human. Growing something yourself is a very simple but powerful way of doing that.

We often come back to our tagline Fabrique moi même, which means made by me. It really captures what we believe in. That the most meaningful things are the ones you create yourself, even if they are small or imperfect.
