Nasturtium Seeds

Nasturtiums are often divided into two categories, namely bush nasturtium and climbing nasturtium.

Climbing nasturtium can grow up to a whole 2 meters long if it has something to climb on or maybe fall down from, for example, a hanging basket.

Bush nasturtium, on the other hand, becomes more like a lower bush and grows to a maximum of about 40 cm high.

Both climbing and bush nasturtium are edible and are very popular for decorating a salad, for example. Nasturtium can be pre-cultivated indoors during the cold winter months, sometime between February and April, but can also be planted directly in the soil when it is manageable, sometime in May-June. We have actually also tried to grow both climbing and bush nasturtium in a pot indoors and it works great. It grows a little slower then, but still becomes very nice.

Nasturtium is generally very easy to grow and they have large seeds that are easy to handle. A good product to grow together with children as it grows quickly and is easy to cultivate.
