All orders received before 12:00 pm are shipped the same day. We send directly to your mailbox via UPS, DHL or Postnord and expect your delivery to arrive 3-6 days after we receive your order.
We carefully pack the seed bags in 100% plastic-free climate-compensated packaging. In addition, we also choose to climate-compensate all our deliveries. For 2024 we have chosen a project that is very close to our hearts - the Swedish forrest and its diversity - which we support through a project called Fightcotwo.

Varför startade vi Florea
Florea föddes egentligen ur en känsla av att något saknades. Vi såg ingen i den digitala världen som verkligen inspirerade till odling på ett sätt som kändes modernt eller relevant. Antingen var det väldigt tekniskt, eller så kändes det lite daterat. För oss har odling alltid varit något mycket mer, något känslomässigt, kreativt och inspirerande.
Vi ville visa att odling inte bara handlar om växter. Det handlar om känslan av att skapa något själv, lugnet det ger och hur det påverkar både kropp och sinne positivt. Den delen tyckte vi inte riktigt fick ta plats.
Vad Florea står för
I en värld som går snabbare och snabbare, där mer automatiseras och där AI ständigt är på tapeten, känner vi ett starkt behov av att hålla fast vid det mänskliga. Att odla något själv är ett väldigt enkelt men kraftfullt sätt att göra det.
Vi återkommer ofta till vårt uttryck "Fabrique moi même", som betyder ‘skapat av mig’. Det fångar kärnan i det vi tror på. Att det mest meningsfulla ofta är det du skapar själv, även om det är smått eller inte helt perfekt.
A family legacy since 1940
Florea was founded in 2020 by Erik Hoekstra, son of Johannes Hoekstra and grandson of Georg Hoekstra. The company is rooted in a family tradition where gardening and flowers have always been a natural part of life.
It all began with Georg, who grew up among the flower fields of Lisse in the Netherlands. After the Second World War, he began exporting flower bulbs to Scandinavia. Johannes later took over the business, and Erik grew up helping out in the family’s flower fields.
Through Florea, Erik wants to carry on his family’s love of gardening and help more people discover the joy of growing their own flowers, herbs and vegetables.
