Scabiosa ‘Fama White’ is a graceful and free-flowering perennial that brings beauty to the garden with its large white blooms.

The soft petals surround a gently domed centre and sit atop long, sturdy stems that sway lightly in the breeze.As a perennial, Fama White returns faithfully year after year and produces an abundance of delicate-looking flowers from summer through autumn.

This variety is equally lovely in borders and bouquets and also offers an excellent vase life.

(Autumn wheat can be pre-planted indoors early in the year or direct seeded outdoors once the soil has warmed up.)

Indoor propagation:

Sow the seeds shallowly on moistened seed soil between February and April. Light favors germination, so cover only with a very thin layer of vermiculite or leave the seeds completely without soil cover. Place the seedlings in a bright and cool place. Keep the soil evenly moist during the germination period. When the risk of frost is over, gradually harden off the seedlings before planting out.

Direct sowing outdoors:

Sow directly on the growing site once the soil has warmed up. Water the soil before sowing and keep moist until the seeds germinate.
