A bicolored sunflower with large, gorgeous flowers.

The variety has creamy yellow petals that transition to a beautiful plum shade near the center of the sunflower.

Pro Cut Plum is perfect for cutting and adds a fairytale-like quality to bouquets and floral arrangements.

It produces long and sturdy stems with one stunning sunflower per stem. This variety is incredibly decorative as a background plant in gardens and is loved by all of our pollinators.

Care and cultivation advice

Start the seeds indoors in March-April in planting soil, one seed per pot. Try to keep the seeds at around 20-25 degrees Celsius before and after germination, in a bright and cool location. If the roots start to show through the bottom of the pots, it's time to transplant them to larger ones.

The plants can be planted outdoors once they have been properly hardened off and the risk of frost has passed. Sunflowers prefer a sunny location with plenty of space for their roots. They thrive in nutrient-rich planting soil and for tall sunflowers, we recommend fertilizing and providing nutrients during the season.

The variety can also be sown directly in the planting soil in May-June, but it will have a slightly later bloom.
